TRANSPORTATION

Students need to make their own flight arrangements to arrive at and depart from the Munich airport on the scheduled days.

MTB provides your local transportation from the airport to Oberaudorf provided you are scheduled to land in Munich on the start date of the program by 12:30 PM. (If you cannot schedule your flights within that window of time, MTB will be happy to assist you with information about how to get to Oberaudorf at your own expense.) Note that if you are flying from North or South America, your flight will depart one day before the start date of the program.

In the event you are traveling in Europe before the start of the program and wish to meet us at the Munich airport on arrival day before our bus leaves for Oberaudorf, you may join us for transport to Oberaudorf. If you are traveling by train from another direction, we can help you determine the best route for getting to Oberaudorf. If you are traveling independently to Oberaudorf, you should plan to arrive on the afternoon of arrival day by 3:00 PM at latest.

During the course of the program MTB provides student transportation to all rehearsals and performances that are scheduled outside of Oberaudorf.  MTB's optional bus transportation back to the Munich airport will leave very early in the morning on the program's departure date. If you wish to take the MTB bus, you need to schedule your return flight to depart from Munich after 8:30 AM on the end date of the program.
